New CounterVision Web Tool Simplifies Surfacing Selection for Homeowners

(Novi, Mich. – November 20, 2006) – CounterVision, a joint venture between Chameleon Power and ETemplate Systems, is now available to help homeowners research and choose products and surfacing materials. With CounterVision, the homeowner can upload a digital image of their actual home or use a provided kitchen scene to display countertop options.

 

Homeowners can upload a picture of their actual room where their countertop is located to the CounterVision tool. Once the image is uploaded, the homeowner can select product choices provided by participating manufacturers – allowing them to determine if the selected products complement each other. If an image is not available, the homeowner can utilize the scenes provided by CounterVision in order to decorate and determine if the colors and products are visually acceptable.  

 

CounterVision is plugged into the Web site navigation of the participating fabricator or distributor and is populated with the products and materials they supply for the convenience of the homeowner.

The Web portal version, www.countervision.com, allows homeowners to compile their product choices, save the project pictures and email the completed project to the fabricators for an expedited experience.
